" I only picked up Dark Empire because several sources seemed to concur that its plot was a major part of the Expanded Universe. Didn't they learn anything from watching "Alien 3?" Sheesh. My biggest complaint here was that the authors kept adding new characters and then promptly killing them off. " This graphic novel started out stronger than Dark Empire I, but slowly devolved into more of the same. Would have liked to see more of a relationship develop between that character and Luke, but oh well. I was a little disappointed in one of the Jedi that was killed off very quickly. This story and its predecessor fill the gap in the SW EU between the birth of the Solo twins and the birth of Anakin Solo. " A good supplement to the story of Luke & his fall to the dark side.
